JSC “TYNYS” is one of the largest machine engineering enterprises in the Republic of Kazakhstan, formerly known as the «Завод кислородно-дыхательной аппаратуры». It was established in 1959. We are a company with many years of experience in manufacturing equipment for law enforcement agencies, fire extinguishers and firefighting equipment, medical devices, cast products based on gasifiable models, and industrial technical goods.
The mission of the enterprise is to produce and sell products that meet consumer expectations, ensuring profitability growth and a sustainable reputation as a reliable supplier of products that meet the required quality and high reliability standards!
The production base of the enterprise includes a complete cycle of manufacturing products – from material preparation operations to the final assembly of finished products. AO “Tynys” has a stable growth trend and development in the implementation of new investment projects. In recent years, the following investment projects have been implemented:
2005 – The first line for the production of polyethylene pipes for water supply and gas supply, with diameters ranging from 10 to 1000 mm, was launched by the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev.
2012 – A workshop for sewing equipment for law enforcement agencies was launched.
2012 – Mastery of casting production based on gasifiable models.
2013 – Production of non-woven materials. 2018 – Mastery of armor panel production.
2018 – Automation of engineering production preparation was implemented.
2019 – Mastery of the production of electric wheelchairs for people with disabilities.
The enterprise has 5 mechanical workshops: a casting workshop, a sewing workshop, a galvanizing workshop, a design bureau, and a testing center. Since 2019, the enterprise has been accredited as a subject of scientific and scientific-technical activity.
The enterprise produces the following equipment for law enforcement agencies: bulletproof vests, armor systems with protection classes from 1 to 5, shock-resistant shields, shock-resistant helmets, headset devices, and rubber technical products for armored vehicles.
Civilian products include: artificial ventilation devices, portable inhalers, electric wheelchairs for adults and children, polyethylene pipes for water supply and gas supply with diameters ranging from 10 to 1000 mm, powder fire extinguishers, carbon dioxide extinguishers, and firefighting equipment, gas shut-off valves, contact network components, friction wedges for railway cars, receivers, electrical installation products, and counterweights.
JSC “Tynys” is implementing a strategic project for the production of parachute equipment on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, thereby contributing to the development of national defense capability and the strengthening of technological independence.
In 2024, JSC “Tynys” and the Russian holding JSC “Technodinamika” signed a technological partnership agreement. Within the framework of this cooperation, the enterprise gained access to a range of modern parachute systems developed and certified under the CSTO framework.

Production is organized using a large-unit assembly method with a gradual increase in the degree of localization. The enterprise operates modern production facilities equipped with the necessary machinery and equipment. All manufacturing processes comply with the requirements of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the products undergo mandatory inspection, certification, and testing.
In 2024, JSC “Tynys” was granted the status of a domestic manufacturer, confirmed by an industrial certificate. The enterprise has also been officially included in the register of suppliers of the state defense order in the category of “parachute and airborne equipment.”
Parachute products manufactured at JSC “Tynys” have successfully undergone field trials within the airborne assault forces and have been deemed suitable for operational use. The Command of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan expressed readiness to employ parachute systems produced by JSC “Tynys.”
JSC “Tynys” regards the development of its parachute production as a strategic priority and continues to strengthen its manufacturing and human resource capabilities. The enterprise is prepared to fulfill large-scale serial orders in the interests of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan as well as international partners.
